The UN is chasing the ideal of clean, cheap energy for all inhabitants on the planet. There is no shortage of solar radiation that can be converted to electricity. The same applies to wind turbines that generate power at lower cost than coal and nuclear power stations. Wave power also has a place in the zero carbon firmament.

With the JVH2 series of challenges, we are keen to show that hydrogen in many forms is a way of storing off-peak electricity, by compressing, liquefying, converting to ammonia or methanol.
